When measured by passengers carried it is second-largest in Britain, behind easyJet. The airline is based in Waterside near its main hub at London Heathrow Airport.
British Airways Check-in
Passengers must check-in for flights 24 hours before the airplane’s departure time. Check-in options include using an airport kiosk or the company’s website.

In addition, heavier bags cannot weigh more than 70 pounds. The company will waive baggage fees for members of the First, Club World, Biz Bed and Club Europe programs.
British Airways legroom
Passengers who need a little extra legroom during a flight can reserve an exit row seat. Airline guests travelling with infants should select bulkhead seats as the bassinet table is located in this area.
British Airways permits passengers to select seats at no additional cost 24 hours before the airline has scheduled the airplane’s departure. However, members of the company’s Executive Club have the option of selecting their seats earlier. In addition, passengers with disabilities and parents travelling with infants may select their seats prior to the 24-hour regulation. Passengers may also pay a fee to select seats early.
